Birthday girl Preity Zinta is winning the internet with her ‘Ghar ki Kheti’ videos that show her gardening skills.

The actress, who turned 48 today, started gardening at her Los Angeles-based residence to keep herself busy during the first Covid-induced lockdown back in 2020. Preity’s mother, Nilprabha Zinta, was the one who gave her the idea of growing veggies and fruits in her backyard during the pandemic.

In a recent ‘Ghar ki Kheti’ video, Preity showed off the banana tree she had planted three years ago during the lockdown and explained the process of harvesting the fruit.

The actress also kept her fans up to date about her navel orange tree that she had planted two years ago in 2021.

Preity thanked her mother for helping her grow fruits and vegetables across her garden. The actress now has a garden full of strawberries, oranges, peaches, guavas, tomatoes, green & red peppers, green and red chillies, eggplant, mint, basil and lemon.

Showing off her home-grown apple tree, which finally bore fruits after two years, the actress wrote how these apples reminded her of her home in the Himachal hills.
