While Bipasha and Devi twinned in pink outfits, Karan went for a printed white t-shirt. A video shared by the actress shows her spending a wholesome moment with her daughter.

For Mouni, Sunday brought forth a celebration of both Bengali New Year and Vishu with her husband Suraj Nambiar. While the Showtime actress sported a white sari with beige borders, Nambiar wore a beige kurta paired with a white Mundu. “Shubho Nabobarsher Priti O Subhechcha. Happyyyyy Vishu,” she captioned the Instagram carousel.

Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty, who play Pablo and Aditi in the upcoming Bengali romantic comedy Alaap, dug into Bengali dishes together to celebrate the Poila Baisakh. Alaap revolves around IT employees Pablo Majumdar (Abir Chatterjee), Aditi Mitra (Mimi Chakraborty) and Swatilekha Sen (Swastika Dutta) whose paths cross, leading to a series of events involving commitment issues and other relationship troubles.

Parambrata, who is set to bring veteran actors Anjan Dutt and Aparna Sen together on the screen in his upcoming directorial Ei Raat Tomar Amaar, opted for a red kurta featuring geometric patterns paired with a white printed dhoti on Poila Baisakh.

Praktan actress Rituparna Sengupta wished her fans a happy Bengali new year in an Instagram video. She sports a black kurti with silver embellishments in the video. Silver drop earrings, red lip shade and a statement ring completed her look.

Byomkesh O Durgo Rahasya actress Rukmini Maitra posed for the lens in a white anarkali. She kept her hair open and wore mehendi on her hands. A red bindi, coral lip shade and smokey eyes complemented her look.

Gourab Chatterjee’s wife Devlina Kumar, who recently appeared in Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s Raktabeej, took to her Instagram stories and shared glimpses from her Bengali New Year date with the Oti Uttam actor. “Poila Boishakh date view,” she captioned a picture showing Gourab sitting in front of her at a table. She also shared a picture of herself in a sleeveless olive green kurti with white prints, clicked by Gourab.

Monami Ghosh ushered the new year in a black sari featuring golden embellishments on the pallu paired with a matching backless blouse. The Mouchaak actress posed for the camera with Bengali sweets and a red diary. “Poila boishakh mishti chhara mishti hoy naki? (Is Poila Baisakh sweet without some sweets?),” she captioned her pictures.
