Popular reality show Bigg Boss OTT is set to return with Season 3 on JioCinema in June, the streamer announced on Wednesday alongside a minute-long teaser.
“Bigg Boss OTT ka naya season dekh kar sab bhool jaaoge. #BiggBossOTT3 coming this June on JioCinema Premium,” the streamer wrote in the caption alongside the teaser on Instagram.
The 25-second promo features a compilation of iconic moments from past seasons, showcasing everything from Abhishek Malhan and Elvish Yadav's intense confrontations to Karan Kundra and Tejasswi Prakash’s romance and Shehnaaz Gill's memorable ‘Sada kutta Tommy’ remark. This is accompanied by a voiceover by Bigg Boss — “Ye viral moment sab bhool jaoge! Bigg Boss OTT ka agla season dekh kar baki sab bhool jaoge. Kyuki ye season hoga khaas! Ekdum Jhakkas.”
Anil Kapoor is likely to replace Salman Khan as the host of Bigg Boss OTT 3, according to news reports. The use of the phrase ‘Jhakkas’ — commonly associated with Anil Kapoor — also adds credence to the claim. An official announcement, however, has not been made yet.
Bigg Boss OTT is a spin-off to the widely popular Indian reality TV show Bigg Boss. The first season, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, streamed on Voot. In the second season, Salman Khan took over hosting duties from Karan Johar.
Actress Divya Agarwal was the winner of Bigg Boss OTT Season 1, while YouTuber Elvish Yadav lifted the trophy in the second season, becoming the first wild card contestant to emerge victorious in the history of the show.
