Two housemates, Adnaan Shaikh and Sana Sultan, were eliminated from the Anil Kapoor-hosted reality show Bigg Boss OTT 3 on Monday following the exit of journalist Deepak Chaurasia during Sunday’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode. Here’s what happened in the latest episode of the JioCinema show.
See-saw elimination task
The elimination task required contestants to pair up and sit on a see-saw for 13 minutes. Since there are no clocks inside the Bigg Boss house, contestants had to rely on their instincts. Once they believed the time had elapsed, they were to ring a bell. Contestants who failed this task faced elimination.
While Adnaan and Sana were concentrating on their task, Armaan Malik tried to distract them. Armaan’s comment about Sana looking like a child without her heels sparked a heated argument between the two housemates. Ranvir Shorey stepped in as a mediator, urging Armaan to apologise for making personal attacks.
Ultimately, Adnaan and Sana lost the task and were evicted from the house.
Sana Makbul’s cover is blown
Earlier in the episode, Bigg Boss removed the three ‘baharwale’ — Vishal Pandey, Ranvir and Adnaan Shaikh — from their roles. They were replaced by Sana Makbul as the new ‘baharwala’. Ranvir was also given the charge for a second time.
Bigg Boss reminded contestants that the identity of the ‘baharwala’ must remain secret. However, Sana’s reaction on receiving Bigg Boss’s message gave Vishal a hint about her role. As Sana’s cover was blown, an angry Bigg Boss punished the entire house by cutting off the gas supply and demanding all pre-cooked food be kept in the store room.
Ranvir, frustrated by the collective punishment, confronted Sana, calling her a “narcissistic sociopath”. When Vishal jumped in to defend Sana, Ranvir questioned his loyalty and wondered if Vishal had a romantic interest in Sana, sparking further outrage.
