A fight over a trivial issue turned ugly in the latest episode of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2, while the Bigg Boss house saw two contestants — Jad Hadid and Abhishek Malhan — become captains within a span of 24 hours. Streaming 24x7 on the JioCinema app, the show has already seen internal rifts and new connections come to light.

Bebika mocks Manisha’s accent

A fight ensued between Manisha Rani and astrologer Bebika Dhurve after the former asked her to turn the gas off in the kitchen area and the latter didn’t take it well. The argument led to Bebika mocking Manisha’s accent, triggering an emotionally-charged outburst. Bebika was quick to accuse Manisha of playing the victim card. When Pooja Bhatt and Falaq Naaz tried to make Bebika realise her mistake, she was adamant. Bebika maintained she has done no wrong.

Dare Game tests housemates’ tenacity

Bigg Boss divided the housemates into two teams for a ‘Dare Game’ in Friday night’s episode. Avinash Sachdev, Cyrus Broacha, Pooja, Bebika and Falaq were part of Team A, while Manisha, Jad, Abhishek, Akanksha Puri and Jiya Shankar formed Team B.

Every team was given one hour to give dares to the other team. If the opposing team managed to fulfil them, it would win the challenge. Falaq was named the supervisor from Team A, while Akanksha was Team B’s supervisor.

A stage was created in the garden area for the game. Cyrus from Team A gave the first dare to Team B — he asked them to swim in the garden imagining it to be a pool. Team B successfully completed the task. When Jiya was dared to eat three spoons of chilli, she refused to accept it. Falaq asked Jiya, Manisha, and Akanksha to destroy their make-up kits in another dare, which they did.

During their turn, Team B asked Cyrus to throw away his protein jar. He accepted it but Team B said that they were just testing him and he need not do it. Next, Falaq was asked to eat five raw onions but she began to vomit during the task.

In the next dare, Jad challenged Bebika, Avinash and Cyrus to take a shower and change in under five minutes. They completed the task easily. Avinash and Cyrus were then challenged to shave their heads, which they refused to do.

Bigg Boss declared Team B as the winner of the Dare Game.

Jad becomes the captain of the house

As a result of winning the Dare Game, Team B was given the opportunity to choose a new captain of the house from amongst them. After a lot of deliberations, they zeroed-in on three names — Jiya, Manisha, and Akanksha. However, Pooja objected to Jiya and Akanksha becoming the captain because they were nominated for eviction this week. Ultimately, Jad was selected as the new captain.

Abhishek replaces Jad as captain

Later in the episode, Abhishek was summoned to the confession room, where Bigg Boss asked him why he did not contend for the captaincy. Abhishek said that he was concerned about the allegations of him being disrespectful towards women and displaying arrogance, so he decided it would be best to avoid taking up the role. However, when Bigg Boss asked if he was willing to become the captain, Abhishek agreed.

Bigg Boss assigned Abhishek a secret task, completing which would make him the captain of the house. The task was to report to Bigg Boss whenever a contestant violates the rules of the BB House. He had to report at least ten rule breaks by the afternoon to become captain.

Abhishek managed to complete the task before the deadline. Bigg Boss summoned all the housemates to the living room and declared Abhishek the new captain of the house due to his successful completion of the secret assignment.
