Popular television actress Nyrraa Banerji was eliminated from Bigg Boss 18 in the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of the reality show, becoming the second contestant to exit the Salman Khan-hosted show this week after Muskan Bamne.
Nyrraa was voted out based on audience votes. She garnered the least number of votes among this week’s nominated contestants, including Rajat Dalal, Vivian Dsena, and Avinash Mishra. Earlier in the week, Anupamaa actress Muskan Bamne was voted out by her housemates for her perceived low engagement in house activities.
During Sunday’s episode of Weekend Ka Vaar, Rohit Shetty joined host Salman Khan to promote Singham Again, the fifth movie in Shetty’s Cop Universe franchise, alongside lead actor Ajay Devgn. Rohit entered the Bigg Boss house with a special message. “Salman bhai ne yeh zimmadari di hai ki aap mein se kisi ek ko yeh khabar dun ki unka safar yahi khatam ho raha hai,” he said, revealing that Nyrraa would be leaving the show.
“I thought as much,” Nyrraa said after being evicted. Fellow contestant Shrutika expressed disappointment at her exit.
In addition to the elimination, the Weekend Ka Vaar episode spotlighted Karan Veer Mehra, whom Salman Khan singled out for his indirect gameplay on the show. Salman compared Karan’s role in the house to that of a ‘nanad’ in daily soaps, suggesting he operates behind the scenes rather than engaging in direct confrontation.
Reacting to Salman’s comment, Vivian playfully called Karan ‘mitti ka tel’, someone who instigates others into conflicts. Salman also criticised Karan’s tendency to instigate conflicts from the sidelines, while also advising him to step into a more visible and active role.
Meanwhile, tensions between Karan and Avinash have been heating up over the week, with the two frequently engaging in fiery exchanges.
