Mind coach and author Arfeen Khan, who is also a close friend of Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, was evicted from the Bigg Boss 18 house this weekend. The announcement, made by guest host Rohit Shetty, left the housemates in shock, especially as Arfeen was considered one of the strong contestants this season.
The nominated contestants this week were Chaahat Pandey, Tajinder Bagga, Arfeen and his wife Sara Arfeen Khan.
The announcement of Arfeen's eviction left Sara visibly distraught. Sara hugged her husband tightly as he prepared to leave. The couple, who entered Bigg Boss together, had been each other’s strongest support throughout the season. Sara, overwhelmed with grief, expressed her desire to exit the show.
Before bidding farewell, Arfeen offered Sara words of caution, advising her to trust no one except Rajat Dalal, another contestant who has been a close ally of the couple. In an emotional moment, Arfeen made a personal request to Rajat, asking him to take care of Sara inside the house. The two men shared a heartfelt hug, with tears in their eyes. In turn, Rajat vowed to “teach a lesson” to fellow contestant Vivian Dsena and his group, which includes Avinash Mishra, Eisha Singh, and Alice Kaushik.
This weekend's episodes saw a shift in hosting duties as Salman Khan was absent due to commitments for his upcoming film Sikandar, currently being shot in Hyderabad. To fill in, producer Ektaa Kapoor and filmmaker Rohit Shetty took turns hosting on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
As host, Rohit pulled up Karan Veer Mehra for avoiding conflicts in the house, pointing out that Karan’s detached attitude has made him appear disengaged from the game. Rohit also addressed Sara’s comments about Eisha-Alice-Avinash, which Ektaa Kapoor had also flagged on Friday. When Sara attempted to explain herself, Rohit retorted that those comments showed her in a bad light.
