Bigg Boss 17 contestant Munawar Faruqui found himself in the crosshairs of wildcard entrant Ayesha Khan, a popular Instagram influencer who accused the stand-up comedian of double dating her and model Nazila Sitaishi at the same time, in the latest episode of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show.
The sudden turn of events left Munawar emotionally distraught and contemplating an exit from the show, airing daily on Colors TV and Jio Cinema.
The incident unfolded when Bigg Boss summoned Munawar to the Archive room, where he was shocked to meet Ayesha. Visibly furious, Ayesha confronted Munawar about his purported deceit, questioning him about his relationship status with his ex-girlfriend Nazila and the alleged involvement of multiple women, including herself, in his life.
“You were two-timing? Didn’t you say I love you to me?” Ayesha asked, accusing Munawar of having more women in his life while he was with her.
In response, Munawar offered an apology for misleading Ayesha but maintained that he hadn't engaged in any form of cheating. "I pretended to still be in a relationship with Nazila to avoid publicising our breakup. My feelings for you were genuine, and I didn't cheat anyone," he explained.
However, as emotions escalated, Munawar was visibly overwhelmed, expressing deep remorse over the situation. "I am aware that I've caused pain, and I feel terrible about it. If given the chance, I'm prepared to exit the Bigg Boss house," he said.
Fellow contestants Ankita Lokhande and Mannara Chopra stepped in to console Munawar as the latter broke down.
