Bigg Boss 16 contestant Sreejita De tied the knot with her long-time German boyfriend, Michael Blohm-Pape, at a white wedding ceremony in Germany on Sunday.
The 33-year-old TV actress shared a set of photos from her church wedding on Instagram and wrote, “Today we celebrate the beginning of forever, hand in hand. ❤️.”
Sreejita looked stunning in a sleeveless mermaid gown with a diamond choker necklace and a cascading veil, while Michael donned a black tuxedo with a red bowtie.
Sreejita’s Bigg Boss 16 co-contestants Shiv Thakare and Archana Gautam were the first of many celebrities who congratulated the couple on their wedding. Television actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee also commented, “Congratulations to the newlyweds ❤️❤️”.
Michael, according to LinkedIn, is a business management professional. Sreejita and Michael have been dating since 2019. The couple got engaged in 2021 after Michael proposed to Sreejita in Paris.
Sreejita had earlier told a news portal that her first wedding ceremony would be a traditional German wedding and she would be later hosting a Bengali wedding ceremony in either Goa or Kolkata.
