The much-anticipated second season of the Feluda adventure series Feludar Goyendagiri: Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr is a murder mystery set against the stunning backdrop of Kashmir. The trailer features a collage of exciting nuggets from the upcoming web series.Based on the evergreen thriller novels by Satyajit Ray on the adventures of Feluda, a private investigator, the series follows Feluda as he tries to unravel an unexpected, ghastly crime in the middle of his sojourn in the picturesque valleys of Kashmir. The series finds Tota Roy Choudhury reprising his role as Feluda, while the familiar faces of Anirban Chakrabarti as his friend Jatayu and Kalpan Mitra as his cousin Topshe can also be seen as his co-travellers, just as in the earlier series.

In the story, Feluda investigates the mysterious death of retired judge Siddheshwar Mallik (Rajatava Dutta), and in doing so uncovers a dark trail of treachery, conspiracy and revenge. When Mallik is found murdered one morning with a valuable diamond ring stolen from the scene of crime, the needle of suspicion obviously points to those who enjoyed his proximity. Among them are his son Bijoy (Sawon Chakraborty), his personal assistant Sushanta Shome (Riddhi Sen), his doctor Harinath Majumdar (Debesh Chatterjee) and his bearer Prayag.

Tota as Feluda appears his suave, confident self and commands the screen with an almost effortless ease. He is particularly brilliant in the action and chasing scenes, wielding a revolver or riding a motorbike across the snow-covered terrain like a pro. His piercing gaze and the determined glint in his eyes recall that of Feluda as described by Ray in his books. Giving him excellent company is Anirban Chakrabarti, whose naive outbursts and wide-eyed wonder as Jatayu have contributed to his growing popularity in this role.

Scenes of unblemished scenic beauty interspersed with scenes of violence and bloodshed add tension and balance to the narrative that is expected to be fast-paced and riveting. Brief glimpses of a military camp and a suspected miliant hideout add an extra aura of mystery and thrill to the trailer which ends on a note that maximises suspense about the identity of the killer.

Directed by Srijit Mukherji, who has also adapted the story and written its screenplay and dialogues, Feludar Goyendagiri: Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr will start streaming on the OTT platform Hoichoi from December 20, promising viewers a crackling start to their holidays this season.
