Actor Kartik Aaryan lights up the dance floor in the foot-tapping title track of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which brings together Pitbull, Diljit Dosanjh, Neeraj Shridhar, Tanishk Bagchi and Pritam.
Dropped by T-Series on Wednesday, the three-minute-59-second-long video captures Kartik showcasing his dancing prowess in sleek, all black ensembles, reminiscent of his dapper outfits in the title track of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
Pitbull, Diljit and Neeraj have lent their vocals to the song composed by Tanishk and Pritam. The title track marks rapper Pitbull’s second collaboration with an Indian artist, following his 2019 hit Slowly Slowly with singer Guru Randhawa.
Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh is no stranger to hit collaborations. He recently shared the stage with Ed Sheeran during a concert in Birmingham. In recent months, he has lent his voice to several high-profile projects — from Naina in Crew to Bhairava Anthem for Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD. He also sang the title track for Alia Bhatt’s Jigra.
Neeraj Shridhar, who sang the title track of the original 2007 film, has reunited for the new track with Tanishk and Pritam, who composed the music for the first and second instalments of the horror-comedy franchise.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar-led T-Series, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will see Kartik return as Rooh Baba, while Vidya Balan will reprise her role as Manjulika. A teaser dropped by the makers last month promised a face-off between the two. Furthermore, the video offered a glimpse of Kartik and Triptii Dimri’s love story in the film, which will also feature Madhuri Dixit.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is slated to hit the screens on November 1 on the occasion of Diwali, thereby clashing at the box office with Ajay Devgn's Singham Again, the fifth film in Rohit Shetty’s cinematic cop universe.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 1, released in 2007, focused on Avni Chaturvedi (Vidya), a woman grappling with dissociative identity disorder. The movie also starred Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja, Ameesha Patel and Paresh Rawal in key roles. The next Bhool Bhulaiya movie, which featured Kiara Advani and Tabu alongside Kartik, revolved around an entrapped spirit seeking revenge. The film emerged as one of the highest-grossing hits of 2022 with a collection of Rs 266.88 crore.
