Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s foot-tapping title track has become the ‘most-watched video in 24 hours’, garnering over 50 million views across all platforms since its October 16 release, actor Kartik Aaryan announced on Thursday.
Sharing a clip of his smooth moves as he moonwalks down the stairs in the music video, Kartik thanked fans, writing, “The #SpookySlide sets the World on Fire. Thank you#BhoolBhulaiyaa3TitleTrack.”
In the music video, Kartik lights up the dance floor, shaking a leg to Pitbull, Diljit Dosanjh, Neeraj Shridhar, Tanishk Bagchi and Pritam’s number. The actor, who will be reprising his role as Rooh Baba in the film, showcases his dancing prowess in sleek, all-black ensembles, reminiscent of his dapper outfits in the title track of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
Pitbull, Diljit and Neeraj have lent their vocals to the song composed by Tanishk and Pritam. The title track marks rapper Pitbull’s second collaboration with an Indian artist, following his 2019 hit Slowly Slowly with singer Guru Randhawa.
In the recently-dropped teaser of the upcoming instalment of the horror comedy franchise, Kartik Aaryan’s Rooh Baba and Vidya Balan’s Manjulika were seen going head-to-head against each other. In the film, Vidya and Madhuri are both reportedly going to essay the role of Manjulika. The video also offers a glimpse of Kartik and Triptii Dimri’s love story in the film.
The first instalment of the horror-comedy franchise, released in 2007, focused on Avni Chaturvedi (Vidya Balan), a woman grappling with dissociative identity disorder. The movie also starred Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja, Ameesha Patel and Paresh Rawal.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, also starring Tabu, revolved around an entrapped spirit seeking revenge. The film emerged as one of the highest-grossing hits of 2022 with a collection of Rs 266.88 crore.
On the work front, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Kabir Khan’s sports drama Chandu Champion.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar-led T-Series, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is slated to hit the screens this Diwali.
