Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 stars Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan face-off on Howrah Bridge; see photos

Also starring Triptii Dimri and Madhuri Dixit, the Anees Bazmee-directed horror comedy is slated to hit screens on November 1

Kartik Aaryan’s Rooh Baba and Vidya Balan’s Manjulika faced off atop a yellow taxi on Kolkata’s iconic Howrah Bridge during a Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 shoot, show pictures shared by the actors on Instagram on Monday.

“Ghar mein Ghus ke Haraunga (Will enter your house and defeat you). Manju Ami tomake Bhalobaashi Naaa (Manju, I don’t love you). Rooh Baba vs Manjulika The fight gets more intense as they reach their home ground-Iconic Howrah Bridge, Kolkata,” reads a joint post from Kartik and Vidya on the social media platform.

The pictures show Kartik and Vidya dressed in all-black ensembles, standing atop a yellow taxi. In the photos, Vidya’s Manjulika has Kartik’s Rooh Baba by the throat.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also stars Triptii Dimri and Madhuri Dixit. The upcoming horror comedy is slated to hit screens on November 1 on the occasion of Diwali, thereby clashing at the box office with Ajay Devgn's Singham Again, the fifth film in Rohit Shetty’s cinematic cop universe.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 1, released in 2007, focused on Avni Chaturvedi (Vidya), a woman grappling with dissociative identity disorder. The movie also starred Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja, Ameesha Patel and Paresh Rawal in key roles. The next Bhool Bhulaiya movie, which featured Kiara Advani and Tabu alongside Kartik, revolved around an entrapped spirit seeking revenge. The film emerged as one of the highest-grossing hits of 2022 with a collection of Rs 266.88 crore.
