Diljit Dosanjh is set to collaborate with American rapper Pitbull for a Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 song, actor Kartik Aaryan announced on Tuesday.
The track, composed by Tanishk Bagchi, will bring the South African genre Amapiano into the Bollywood mix.
Sharing a 22-second teaser of the upcoming track from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on X (formerly Twitter), Kartik wrote, “Rooh Baba goes Global with the Coolest Collab. DILJIT x PITBULL N the OG NEERAJ. Get Ready for the #SpookySlide .”
This new project marks Pitbull’s second collaboration with an Indian artist, following his 2019 hit Slowly Slowly with singer Guru Randhawa.
Diljit Dosanjh is no stranger to hit collaborations. He recently shared the stage with Ed Sheeran during a concert in Birmingham. In recent months, he has lent his voice to several high-profile projects — from Naina in Crew to Bhairava Anthem for Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD. He also sang the title track for Alia Bhatt’s Jigra. Diljit headlined Imtiaz Ali’s Netflix film Amar Singh Chamkila earlier this year.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will hit theatres on November 1. Apart from Kartik Aaryan, the comedy horror film features Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit. It is set to clash with Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again at the box office.
Meanwhile, music composer Amaal Mallik recently teased the Ami Je Tomar Rebirth mix from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Shreya Ghoshal, who had lent her voice to the original song composed by Pritam for Priyadarshan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa, returns as the singer for this version as well.
