Bhansali Productions shared another video encapsulating behind-the-scenes moments from the film’s sets. “Here’s a peek into the making of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam Celebrating 25 years of love, laughter, and legacy! #25YearsOfHumDilDeChukeSanam,” they wrote in the caption.

Set in Gujarat, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam follows the journey of Nandini (Aishwarya Rai) navigating the conflicting emotions of love and duty. Salman Khan portrays Sameer, the passionate young man who enters Nandini's life, igniting a forbidden love that challenges societal norms. Their emotional rollercoaster is further complicated by Nandini’s marriage to Vanraj (Ajay Devgn), whose selfless love adds layers of depth to the narrative.

Composed by Ismail Darbar, the film’s soundtrack also etched a place in popular culture at the time. Songs like Nimbooda (sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy), Dholi Taro Dhol Baje (sung by Karsan Sargathiya, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Vinod Rathod) and Tadap Tadap Ke (sung by K.K.) became chartbusters.
