The entire team of Sohag Chand recently got together to celebrate a significant milestone as Sohag Chand (on Colors Bangla) completed 500 episodes. The show, which debuted on November 28, 2022, unfolds the contrasting lives of two individuals, Sohag and Chand. To mark this special occasion, the cast gathered on the show's sets and cut a cake.

Sohag Chand narrates the story of Sohag, a compassionate young woman, and Chand, a fitness enthusiast with lofty life aspirations. "Sohag Chand has been an enriching journey, both creatively and personally. Creatively because even though I am the 'bad guy' of the story, my character Durjoy is not unidimensional and has many, many layers to him. The show itself is unique because the creators and showrunners attached to the project have stood firmly by their beliefs of creating socially relevant dialogue with conviction, never breaking into gimmick-ridden territory. Personally too, it has been fulfilling. The cast and crew have bonded so well that we have developed very deep friendships and genuinely care about each other. Perhaps, it is a combination of all these factors that has led us to this glorious landmark," said Debopriyo Mukherjee.
