Bas Kar Bassi
The trailer for Amazon Prime Video’s official stand-up comedy special Bas Kar Bassi has come out. Directed by Abhishek Upmanyu, the show captures Indian comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi at Adsto Media House.
The one-minute-17-second-long trailer depicts Bassi’s college years at the National Law University, followed by his arrival in Delhi as a young lawyer with dreams, ambition and friends.
Bas Kar Bassi will arrive on Amazon Prime Video on February 1.
Class
Netflix has dropped its thriller series Class. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ashim Ahluwalia, the show features Gurfateh Pirzada, Anjali Sivaraman, Ayesha Kanga and Cyaawal Singh. This is the Indian adaptation of the famous Spanish young adult series Elite.
The one-minute-19-second-long trailer depicts romantic relationships formed by the students of Delhi’s most elite school — Hampton International. It also features how students clash with each other due to the differences in their economic and social standings.
Class will be streaming on Netflix from February 3.
Metro In Dino
T-Series unveiled the release date of Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino on Monday. It stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkana Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film is an anthology of four intertwined stories and is a sequel to Anurag’s acclaimed 2007 film Life In a Metro.
By sharing a picture of the cast on Instagram, the makers said, “We are Thrilled to announce that #MetroInDino, the modern day people's tale by ace director Anurag Basu complimented with Pritam da's music is all set for release on 8th December 2023!”
Metro In Dino will hit the theatres on December 8.
The Last of US Episode 4
HBO Max on Monday released the preview of the upcoming fourth episode of its ongoing post-apocalyptic drama series The Last of Us. Based on a survival video game of the same name, developed by Naughty Dogs, the series is created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. It stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in lead roles.
The 53-second-long teaser follows the story of Joel and Ellie travelling through a post-apocalyptic America. The teaser introduces viewers to new locations as they meet new characters and dangers.
The Last of Us Episode 4 will premiere on Disney+Hotstar on February 6.
