Barry Season 4
The official teaser of the fourth and final season of HBO’s black comedy series Barry came out on Tuesday late night. Created by Alec Berg and Bill Hader, the Emmy-winning show features Bill Hader in the titular role along with Sarah Goldberg, Henry Winkler, Anthony Carrigan and Stephen Root.
The one-minute-10-second-long teaser opens with Barry, who is now behind the bars. He calls Cousineau (Winkler), who is still furious with him. Then we see Barry’s deteriorating mental health as he starts to hallucinate on things from the past.
Barry Season 4 will be streaming on HBO Max from April 16.
The Nurse
Netflix shared the official teaser of its upcoming Danish series The Nurse on Tuesday. It is based on the book of the same name written by Kristian Corfixen. The series stars Josephine Park, Fanny Bernth, Amalie Lindegård, Peter Zandersen and Dick Kaysø.
In the three-minute-32-second-long teaser, we see Pernille Kurzmann in her new job as a nurse. She soon befriends charming and charismatic Christina Aistrup Hansen, who at first seems to be one of a kind. However, Pernille later finds out there might be more to Christina than what first meets the eye.
The Nurse will arrive on Netflix on April 27.
On a Wing and a Prayer
Amazon Prime Video unveiled the official trailer of its upcoming film On a Wing and a Prayer on Tuesday. Directed by Sean McNamara, the film stars Dennis Quaid, Heather Graham, Jessi Case as Maggie, Rocky Myers as Dan and Jesse Metcalfe.
The two-minute-six-second-long trailer follows passenger Doug White’s (Dennis Quaid) harrowing journey to safely land a plane and save his entire family after their pilot dies unexpectedly mid-flight.
On a Wing and a Prayer will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video on April 7.
Virupaksha
Sony Music South released the official teaser of its upcoming Telugu-language film Virupaksha on Tuesday late evening. Directed by Karthik Dandu, the film stars Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon in lead roles.
The one-minute-22-second-long teaser introduces us to the dark and mystical world of the film. It takes us to a forest where people are indulging in what seems like occult rituals. It ends with a young girl jumping inside a well.
Virupaksha will arrive in theatres on April 21.
