With the upcoming release of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, based on the famous Mattel doll, the fashion world has been taken over by the hyper-feminine pink shade that has long been associated with Barbie dolls. While Barbie stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling have been spotted in their pink costumes at the film’s shoot, celebrities ranging from Simone Ashley and Ananya Panday to F1 racer Lewis Hamilton have been spotted stepping out in the fuchsia pink shade, upping the Barbiecore fever.

Barbiecore has found its biggest fan in the Emmy-winning Euphoria actress. Zendaya has been spotted wearing barbie pink for quite a while now. Styled by Italian fashion designer Pierpaolo Piccioli, Zendaya wore a complete monochrome pink look, starting with the boots to the bag and even the accessories.
Ranveer Singh
As one who never fails to experiment with his clothes, Ranveer Singh goes where other film stars fear to tread. From slaying skirts to sporting feminine aesthetics, the Gully Boy actor is one of the best-dressed Bollywood celebrities. At ‘Creator Day’ for Meta 2022 in Mumbai, Ranveer sported an all-pink suit look, complete with sunglasses and matching pink sneakers.

The younger Kapoor sister, Khushi, is set to debut in Bollywood with the Zoya Akhtar-directed The Archies. The sisters shared several pictures of them channelling Barbiecore in contrasting pink dresses at Khushi’s birthday bash.
While Khushi went for a trendy corset-inspired satin baby pink dress, Janhvi went for a simple bright fuchsia pink dress paired with golden earrings and a sleek ponytail. Janhvi captioned her picture, ‘Barbie baby’.
Lewis Hamilton
This fashion trend has been breaking gender barriers. The extravagant pink hue was seen on F1 star Lewis Hamilton, who fronted Valentino’s Pink PP campaign for Fall 2022 along with Zendaya. The racing champion wrote, ‘Great things happen when we embrace our authentic selves’, joining forces with the creative director of Valentino, Pierpaolo Piccioli.

Sebastian Stan also joined the Barbie fever as the Marvel star wore a monochrome pink look. From his shoes to the coat and even the shades, Stan went all out with his monochrome pink outfit for the 2022 Met Gala. His socks were pink too. Though the outfit did not match the ‘Gilded Glamour’ theme, the actor pushed the envelope by donning the bright pink ensemble.
