Following the updates of Prabhas’s Project K to Dulquer Salmaan’s King of Kotha, the makers of other upcoming movies from the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam film industries dropped new trailers and teasers last week. Here’s a look at some of them.
Bagheera (Tamil)
The makers have revealed a new trailer for Prabhu Deva’s upcoming psychological thriller Bagheera. Written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film stars several female actresses including Amyra Dastur, Ramya Nambeesan, Janani, Sanchita Shetty, Gayathrie Shankar, Sakshi Agarwal, and Sonia Agarwal.
In the one-minute-50-second-long trailer, Prabhu Deva plays a psycho killer who murders girls for fun. We see a man changing identities to trap women in love and then brutally killing them. The actor will be seen in more than six different looks in the film.
Bagheera is set to hit the theatres on March 3.
Anger Tales (Telugu)
The trailer of the Telugu-language anthology film Anger Tales was dropped by Disney+Hotstar Telugu. Directed by debutant Prabhala Tilak and co-written by him alongside Karthikeya Karedla, the movie features Venkatesh Maha, Suhas, Ravindra Vijay, Bindu Madhavi, Phani Acharya, Tharun Bhascker and Madonna Sebastian.
The two-minute-41-second-long trailer introduces us to the four main characters and also gives a glimpse of their situation. It follows these four characters — Ranga, Pooja, Radha and Giri — as they embark on a journey to understand themselves better through their anger and frustrations.
Anger Tales will be streaming on Disney+Hotstar on March 9.
Ayalvaashi (Malayalam)
The makers of the upcoming Malayalam-language comedy drama film Ayalvaashi have unveiled the release date of the film alongside a new poster. Written and directed by Irshad Parari, the film stars Saubin Shahir, Binu Pappu, Swathi Das Prabhu and Jijomol Jose. The film is set for an Eid release on April 21.
13 (Kannada)
The official teaser for the upcoming Kannada-language film 13 was dropped by the makers. Directed by K.Narenndra Baboo, the film features Raghavendra Rajkumar and Shruthi in lead roles.
The two-minute-10-second-long trailer follows a former cop, who is now the owner of a scrapyard. The man gets entangled in an investigation to find a killer who has murdered some girls. During his investigation, he also faces several people from the underworld and corrupt police officers.
