Flying cars and explosions galore in a new behind-the-scenes video of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff-starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, dropped by the makers on Friday to provide a glimpse of what went into making the actioner look “real” and convincing despite the gravity-defying stunts.

Titled Making of The Real Action Film, the two-minute-long video starts off with writer-director Ali Abbas Zafar talking about his fascination with making “big action films”. His voiceover is accompanied with shots of army vehicles, helicopters and aeroplanes along with shots of the lead actors. The video then cuts to cannons firing and vehicles exploding.

Akshay, who plays Bade Miyan, talks about working on the film with the objective of showing “real and believable” action. “Sky is the limit” when it comes to the action genre, says Tiger. “In this movie, the canvas of action is very real, very raw, very rugged,” Ali Abbas adds.

Co-producer Jackky Bhagnani says that the objective behind bringing ‘two biggest action stars’ together was to make the action look real. Producers Himanshu Kishan Mehra and Vashu Bhagnani also speak in the video about how they wanted to avoid using VFX to make the experience more authentic for the viewers.

Aside from glimpses of the fiery action sequences, the BTS video shows how the crew got into the thick of the action by shooting aerial sequences from helicopters.

The film is shot in several locations including Mumbai, London, Abu Dhabi, Scotland, and Jordan. Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F also feature in it.

Set to release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will hit theatres on April 10.
