Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri romance each other in the steamy music video of Jaanam, the second track from Dharma Productions’ upcoming romcom Bad Newz, dropped by the makers on Tuesday.
The three-minute-16-second-long video highlights the sizzling chemistry between Vicky and Triptii’s characters in the film. While Triptii looks mesmerising in varied lingerie and bikinis, Vicky flaunts his ripped body. In one of the scenes, Triptii joins Vicky in a swimming pool. The two actors share intimate moments, culminating in an underwater kiss.
Jaanam is sung, composed and written by Vishal Mishra. The female vocals are sung by Shreya Jain and the music is supervised by Azeem Dayani. The music video is choreographed by Remo D’souza.
Backed by the makers of Raj Mehta’s Good Newwz (2019), Bad Newz is directed by Anand Tiwari. Touted as ‘a comedy based on true events’, the film is produced by Amazon Prime in association with Dharma Productions and Leo Media Collective.
Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari serve as the producers, while the screenplay is developed by Ishita Moitra and Tarun Dudeja.
Bad Newz wrapped up shooting last year and was originally titled Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam. Also starring Ammy Virk, the film is slated to hit the screens on July 19.
