Backstreet Boys get Bollywood style welcome in Mumbai, Nick Carter shares reaction video

The boy band will be performing in Mumbai and Delhi as part of their DNA World Tour

Members of Backstreet Boys received a Bollywood style welcome from their hotel staff, who danced on a mashup of the American boy band’s hit songs, upon their arrival in Mumbai for a concert on May 4.

The band’s lead vocalist, Nick Carter, on Wednesday shared a video of the grand welcome on social media. “This is the first time I have seen something like this in my entire career,” the 43-year-old singer-songwriter was heard saying in the clip.

“What a cool surprise arriving at the hotel here in Mumbai India. The hotel staff had a full out Bollywood style dance prepared remixing all our songs. I guess we really do have fans all over the world,” he also wrote alongside the video.

Howie Dorough, another vocalist of the band, shared a video on Instagram in which the hotel staff can be seen jiving to the 1997 Backstreet Boys song Everybody (Backstreet's Back).

Backstreet Boys, comprising Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson, will be performing in Delhi and Mumbai as a part of their DNA World Tour. The concert will take place at the Jio World Garden in Mumbai on May 4.

Formed in 1993 in Orlando, Backstreet Boys rose to fame with their international debut album Backstreet Boys. The band has delivered Billboard top 10 hits like Quit Playing Games With My Heart, I Want it That Way, Shape Of My Heart and Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely.
