Varun Dhawan-starrer Baby John is going to hit the theatres on Christmas this year, announced the makers, sharing a poster of the film on their official Instagram handle on Wednesday.
The poster features Varun in a black sleeveless shirt and jeans, surrounded by a group of shadowy figures holding weapons. The background is dark and atmospheric, enhancing the dramatic tone.
“Christmas this year just got merrier. Brace yourselves for Baby John releasing on December 25th,” reads the caption of the post.
Helmed by Kalees, Baby John marks the Hindi debut of Keerthy Suresh. The cast also includes Wamiqa Gabbi. Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav in this action entertainer. The background score is composed by S Thaman.
Backed by Jio Studios, Baby John is also co-produced in association with Atlee and Cine1 Studios. This A for Apple Studios and Cine1 Studios production is co-produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande.
Baby John marks Varun’s first collaboration with Atlee, who recently achieved success with the Shah Rukh Khan-led film Jawan released in 2023.
Varun last appeared in 2023’s Amazon Prime Video romantic drama film Bawaal along with Janhvi Kapoor. The actor is currently gearing up for his film Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari and will also make his OTT series debut with Amazon Prime Video series Citadel: Honey Bunny.
