Set to make his acting debut with the Netflix movie Qala alongside Triptii Dimri, this Gen Z boy is already winning over the internet with the ease and simplicity he brings to the table — a quality his late father was known for.

Babil loves to dress up

Babil knows his fashion, and his charming personality adds to his unique sense of style. Like any other Gen Z, he loves to layer his clothes.

Strumming his way into our hearts, Babil sang Gul by Anuv Jain. His Qala co-star Triptii also marvelled at the cover and commented, ‘Wahh 😍we have to do Alag Aasman together.’

One of his earlier song covers was Fancy Shoes by The Walters. Amping up his style game, Babil wore a cute bucket hat while singing the number.

He can make you laugh

Babil, now in his early 20s, has also inherited his father’s sense of humour. He often takes to Instagram to share funny reels.

A family man

Babil enjoys family time and often spends his days chilling with his mother Sutapa Sikdar. The Gen Z actor shared a throwback picture of his entire family — with his father Irrfan, mother Sutapa, younger brother Ayaan and himself smiling at the camera. The caption, ‘Mr. Champak Ghasiteram and gang,’ was a reference to Irrfan’s character Champak from the 2020 comedy Angrezi Medium.
