Dream Girl 2 emerged as the ninth highest Week 1 grosser among the Bollywood films released in 2023, raking in Rs 67.5 crore nett since its theatrical release on August 25, according to Box Office India.

However, the Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer still lagged behind Gadar 2 in terms of daily collection. The romantic drama minted Rs 8 crore nett on Thursday, while Sunny Deol’s actioner earned Rs 8.10 crore nett.

Earlier, Dream Girl 2 had also registered the ninth biggest opening of 2023 among Hindi films with Rs 10.69 crore nett. Its decent first weekend (Rs 30 crore nett) was followed by a steady show over the weekdays.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar-starrer OMG 2 earned Rs 1.61 crore nett on Day 21, taking its three-week collection to Rs 141.80 crore nett.
