Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl 2 experienced an average start to its second week in theatres as it raked in only Rs 4.25 crore nett on Thursday, according to Box Office India reports.
The Raaj Shaandilyaa-helmed romantic comedy has so far minted Rs 71.25 crore nett since its release on August 25, emerging as the 12th Hindi film released in 2023 to hit the Rs 70-crore mark. Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Prabhas-starrer Adipurush achieved the feat on Day 2, while Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan joined the club in three days. Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar took four days to reach the mark.
On the other hand, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 began its fourth week at the domestic box office with a collection of Rs 5.20 crore nett, taking the film’s total collection so far to Rs 487.65 crore nett.
Akshay Kumar-starrer OMG 2 earned Rs 1.61 crore nett on Day 21, taking the three-week collection of the Amit Rai-helmed satirical comedy to Rs 141.80 crore nett.
