Arijit Singh has postponed his August tour of the UK and the Netherlands due to “unforeseen medical circumstances”.

The singer announced this in an Instagram post on Thursday, citing health concerns as the reason for his inability to perform in London, Birmingham, Rotterdam and Manchester on scheduled dates this month. He, however, revealed a series of new dates for each of the locations.

“It pains me to share that unforeseen medical circumstances have forced me to postpone our August concerts,” wrote Arijit on Instagram and assured his fans that all existing tickets will remain valid for the new dates.

The new dates for his concerts are: September 15 (London), September 16 (Birmingham), September 19 (Rotterdam) and September 22 (Manchester).

“I know how eagerly you were awaiting these shows and I'm truly sorry for the disappointment. Your love and support are my strength. Let's turn this pause into a promise of an even more magical reunion,” the 37-year-old singer added, apologising for the inconvenience and expressing his gratitude to his fans for their cooperation and unwavering support.

“Thank you for your understanding, patience, and unwavering love. I can't wait to create unforgettable memories with you all. With heartfelt apologies and endless gratitude,” he signed off.

Arijit recently recorded the tracks Satyanaas and Tu Hai Champion for Kabir Khan’s latest sports drama Chandu Champion and Tainu Khabar Nahi for Aditya Sarpotdar’s hit horror-comedy Munjya.
