Tamannaah Bhatia, Raashii Khanna and Sundar C grapple with a sinister power in the trailer of the fourth instalment of the Aranmanai film series.
Dropped by record label Think Music India, the two-minute-44-second-long trailer begins with a happy family of four, who soon find themselves in the throes of a sinister force and face tragedy. The police assume that the husband (Santhosh ) had died of a cardiac arrest following a spat with his wife (Tamannaah), who was later found to have hung herself inside an unused well.
However, Tamannaah’s brother (Sundar C), a lawyer by profession, refuses to believe that his sister would kill herself. The following sequences show Raashii as an occupant of a haunted house. Meanwhile, Sundar’s investigation leads him to a couple of paranormal discoveries, including the fact that Tamannaah was seen by a few people after her death.
The storyline also seems to involve an evil sorcerer. It is revealed that the two lives taken by the evil force have enhanced its strength. One of the clips also shows Tamannaah being tormented by a malevolent entity.
Alleviating the tense atmosphere are Tamannaah and Raashii’s electrifying moves from a dance number in the film. The trailer also promises an abundance of jump scares and CGI monsters.
The video ends with a feeling of foreboding as Sundar’s character senses impending danger. He predicts that the evil force will attempt to kill another person on the night of the great festival in order to attain omnipotence.
Directed by Sundar C from a script by Venkatt Ragavan and S. B. Ramadass, the film has music composed by Hiphop Tamizha.
A standalone sequel to 2021’s Aranmanai 3, Aranmanai 4 is slated to hit the screens on April 11.
