The drama series follows the story of Jimmy Keene played by Egerton, who is sentenced to 10 years in a minimum-security prison but agrees to befriend a suspected serial murderer in exchange for a deal with the FBI. To uncover the bodies of up to 18 women, Keene must extract a confession from Larry Hall.

Ray plays the role of Big Jim Keene, Jimmy’s father. At the beginning of the two-minute-28-second trailer, he’s seen telling his son, “I never wanted this for you. I wanted a totally different life — a steady paycheck, kids, a family.”
