Amazon Prime Video on Tuesday unveiled a preview of its upcoming documentary series on musician AP Dhillon, known for popular Punjabi chartbusters like Brown Munde and Summer High.

Titled AP Dhillon: First of a Kind, this series revolves around the life and experiences of Amritpal Singh Dhillon and sheds light on his journey from a humble beginning to becoming a global musical sensation.

“AP Dhillon: First Of A Kind' out on August 18th worldwide. #APDhillonOnPrime, series preview out now," Amazon Prime Video tweeted on Tuesday alongside the preview.

The 55-seconds-long preview captures the extraordinary trajectory of Dhillon's life, starting from his early days in Punjab to his rise as an acclaimed global music icon in Canada. The documentary series also offers interviews of Dhillon’s family and friends.

The preview offers a glimpse into Dhillon’s life in rural Punjab, his motivations, and his journey, with behind-the-scenes footage.

Helmed by Jay Ahmed, the documentary has been produced by PASSION Pictures, Wildsheep Content, and Run-Up Records. AP Dhillon: First of a Kind will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from August 18.
