Actress Anushka Sharma on Thursday posted a candid picture of herself following a month-long hiatus from social media since the birth of her second child Akaay on February 15.
In her new photo on Instagram, Anuskha is smiling brightly and flaunting her wavy hair. Wearing a white oversized shirt and boyfriend jeans, the actress is sitting on a wooden platform with cushions and blankets around her, while a bunch of trees are acting as the perfect backdrop.
Fans flooded the comment section expressing how they missed the actress cheering for her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, at the IPL match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings on March 25. Virat earned the title of ‘Player of the Match’ by surpassing the 177-run target set by Punjab Kings.
Speculation about Anushka’s pregnancy has been doing the rounds since the last leg of 2023. On February 20, the actress issued a joint statement with Virat, saying that they welcomed their baby boy Akaay on February 15. “With abundant happiness and our hearts all of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika’s little brother into this world,” reads the post shared by both Anushka and Virat.
Virat and Anushka tied the knot in 2017 after dating each other for several years. They welcomed their first child Vamika in January 2021.
Anushka was last seen in the 2018 film Zero and will next appear in cricketer Jhulan Goswami’s biopic Chakda Xpress, written by Abhishek Banerjee and directed by Prosit Roy.
