Anu Malik celebrates Bobby Deol’s Bollywood legacy by grooving to Animal’s Jamal Kudu, Soldier title tracks

Music composer Anu Malik celebrated Bobby Deol’s Bollywood legacy by grooving to Animal’s Jamal Kudu song, which plays in the movie during the actor’s entry scene, before making a quick switch to the title track of his 1998 movie Soldier in a fun Instagram reel on Friday.

Dressed in a stylish black t-shirt and denims, Anu was seen grooving to the beats of Jamal Kudu in the video with the words "What kids know Bobby for" flashing across the screen.

The reel took a nostalgic turn as Anu switched to the title track of the 1998 film Soldier, starring Bobby and Preity Zinta, in which he had composed the music. The text “What OGs know him for” appeared on the screen, referring to Bobby’s character in the revenge thriller directed by Abbas Mustan.

The music composer expressed his affection for Bobby in the caption of the Instagram post. “Dear @iambobbydeol, Na Lord, Na Animal... you will always be my Superhero Soldier Love you superstar! ” he wrote alongside the reel.

Bobby is currently basking in the success of his recent movie Animal, helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. He played the antagonist, Abrar Haque, in the actioner opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
