Two-time Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins was impressed with Bollywood star Salman Khan after meeting him at 2024 Joy Awards in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday.
Salman, who is all set to star in Karan Johar’s upcoming production The Bull, attended the award ceremony to present the Lifetime Achievement Award to Egyptian actress Essad Youniss.
Sharing a picture with the Tiger 3 actor on his Instagram story, Hopkins wrote on Sunday, “It was an honor to meet you @beingsalmankhan.”

He was also part of Zack Snyder’s science fiction film Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire, which premiered on Netflix in India on December 22 last year.
In his acceptance speech, the 84-year-old actor thanked the audience for their generosity, expressing his wish to visit Saudi Arabia again. “At this time of my life, I am just happy to wake up in the morning and realise I am still here,” he said.
Apart from Salman, Alia Bhatt was also present on the occasion as she received the Honorary Entertainment Makers Award for her contribution to Indian cinema.
