Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania beat Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon-starrer Shehzada in India by collecting Rs 3.50 crore nett on Monday, figures with Box Office India highlighted on Tuesday.

The Paul Rudd-starrer superhero movie, directed by Peyton Reed, has collected Rs 29 crore nett so far, as per Box Office India reports. On the other hand, Shehzada’s domestic collection stood at Rs 23 crore following a collection of Rs 3 crore in India on Monday.

Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania has earned a total of USD 239.30 million so far in the overseas market, taking its worldwide box office collection to USD 359.30 million.

The film raked in USD 120 million during its 4-day extended Presidents’ Day weekend in the domestic market of US and Canada. Its collection during the Presidents’ Day weekend is third highest, after Black Panther ($242.1 million) and Deadpool ($152.1 million).

Also starring Evangeline Lilly and Jonathan Majors, Quantumania is the third instalment in the Ant-Man series and marks the beginning of the fifth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since its release on February 17, the film has been receiving mixed responses from critics and the audience alike.
