Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal has already sold over seven lakh tickets across theatres in India for its release on Day 1, having set the cash register ringing with an impressive Rs 19.7 crore gross in advance bookings, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
A staggering 7,45,992 tickets have so far been sold for the The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial for 12,539 shows in India. The movie has garnered significant attention at national chains, selling more than two lakh tickets, with PVR-Inox leading with 1,61,000 tickets sold, followed by Cinepolis with 42,000 tickets.
Breaking down the numbers for its regional releases, the Hindi version of Animal has sold 5,75,197 tickets for 10,703 shows for the opening day. The Telugu version has already sold 99,917 tickets across 993 shows. In Tamil, the movie has sold 1,511 tickets through 87 shows, and the Kannada version has accumulated 1,532 tickets in 24 shows.
Animal is gearing up for a head-to-head clash with Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur at the box office on December 1. The Vicky Kaushal-starrer has garnered a substantial gross of approximately Rs 1.82 crore, with a total of 57,888 tickets sold for 3,356 shows.
Alongside Ranbir, Animal boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles.
