Actor Anil Kapoor shared a throwback picture with Sridevi and the late filmmaker-actor Satish Kaushik from the sets of the 1993 action comedy Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja to mark 30 years of the film on Sunday.
“A film that might have not done well at the box office but was made with all heart…directed by my friend Satish…30 years ago….the songs and the train robbery were brilliantly shot by my friend... I believe every project is a learning experience and a cherished one! #30yearsofRoopKiRaniChoronKaRaja,” Anil wrote on Instagram alongside the pictures.
In the pictures, we can see Anil, Sridevi, Kaushik and other members of the cast and the crew posing together. Kaushik, who died of a heart attack last month, had directed Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja.
Anil, an old friend of Kaushik, had also attended a musical night hosted by actor Anupam Kher to celebrate the filmmaker’s life on his birth anniversary.
On April 13, Anil shared a heartfelt note along with a video as a tribute to his long-time collaborator and friend Kaushik on his birth anniversary.
“While I sit here trying to find the right words or just any words really to express what I feel right now…I want to fill books telling you what you mean to me but I know you already knew that…in the 3 mins of this video, I relived so many of our memories. I wish we had more time…I wish I could call you and tell you just one more time how lucky I am to have you in my life….I miss you beyond words Satish…I pray that everyone has a friend like you in their life because you were a true blessing…Happy Birthday my friend,” wrote the 66-year-old actor.
Anil and Kaushik were last seen together in 2022’s action thriller film Thar, directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary. The duo starred in iconic films like Mr. India, Ram Lakhan and Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai.
