Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh indulged in banter before walking the red carpet for the September 6 premiere of their latest romantic drama We Live in Time at the ongoing Toronto International Film Festival in Canada, shows a video shared by production house A24 on Wednesday.
“We Live In Time world premiere diaries with Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield in theaters Oct 11,” wrote the makers, sharing the video on X (formerly Twitter).
The video begins with behind-the-scenes footage of Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh getting ready for the movie premiere. The following clips show them walking the red carpet and greeting fans. Garfield wore a crisp grey suit with a brown shirt, while Pugh looked stunning in a pink Tamara Ralph Fall 2024 Couture gown featuring a black croc leather bow and a silk flower.
“It’s such a privilege to collaborate with people you can truly trust,” said Garfield after the film's screening. “It’s amazing being in this space with all of you because it’s such a pleasure,” added Pugh, as the audience erupted in loud cheers, making her emotional.
Helmed by Brooklyn director John Crowley, We Live in Time features Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh as a couple navigating their relationship amid the latter’s struggles with stage 3 ovarian cancer. The film, set to release theatrically on October 11, also stars Lee Braithwaite, Adam James, Aoife Hinds and Douglas Hodge in key roles.
The 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, which commenced on September 5, is scheduled to end on September 15.
