Bollywood actress Ananya Panday, who flew to Doha in Qatar to watch the FIFA World Cup semi-finals, on Tuesday took to Instagram to share her excitement at seeing Argentina skipper Lionel Messi in action against Croatia and former England player David Beckham in the stands.

Ananya shared a selfie where she could be seen sporting an Argentina jersey along with another picture of Messi on the field during the match. She also shared a picture of David Beckham looking dapper in the viewers' gallery with the caption — “Ok I am done (several star-eyed emojis) David Beckham. Fully waved at me”.

Ananya’s Gehraiyaan co-stars Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi will also attend the FIFA World Cup finals. While Deepika will unveil the 2022 FIFA World Cup trophy at the Lusail Iconic Stadium on December 18, Siddhant is set to represent India in the official FIFA World Cup anthem along with American rapper Lil’ baby.

Ananya was last seen in Liger, opposite Vijay Devarakonda. It was her first bi-lingual film and also marked Vijay’s debut in Bollywood.
