Actress Ananya Panday glittered in different outfits during the promotions of her debut web series Call Me Bae, which is currently streaming on Prime Video. Here’s a look at her fashionista avatars on such occasions.
Ananya exuded boss-lady vibes in a classic navy blue striped co-ord set. Directed by Collin D’Cunha and created by Ishita Moitra, Call Me Bae features the actress as Bae, a wealthy South Delhi girl who is disowned by her billionaire family after her husband (Vihaan Samat) catches her getting cosy with her trainer (Varun Sood) at the gym.
The rest of the series follows Bae’s struggles to adapt to middle-class life in Mumbai. Ananya’s fashion choices in the show are reminiscent of Alexis Rose (Annie Murphy) from Canadian sitcom Schitt's Creek and Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) from Netflix series Emily in Paris.
Ananya paired an orange wrap top with black trousers in keeping with her personal style from the series. She styled her hair in a bun and opted for golden hoops to complete the look.
A pink corset top and a textured green mini skirt made for a winning look. A sleek ponytail and minimal accessories kept Ananya’s chic appearance fuss-free.
Ananya channelled her inner Bae in a pink-and-white three-piece ensemble — a blazer worn over a crop top and a column skirt. Heart-shaped drop earrings, silver ear cuffs and subtle makeup complemented her outfit.
The actress, who will next appear in Vikramaditya Motwane's CTRL, looked gorgeous in a black cut-out dress that she teamed with a lavender tulle cape, which had an intricate rose stitched onto it.
Ananya’s orange one-shoulder dress is inspired by an iconic outfit worn by actress-singer Jennifer Lopez in the run-up to the launch of her ninth studio album This Is Me… Now. Both Ananya’s and Lopez’s ensembles featured a shimmery silver rose stem stitched to the neckline. Like Lopez, Ananya opted for a sleek bun and stiletto boots.
An oversized denim jacket added a dash of colour to Ananya’s all-black outfit. She is expected to star alongside Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan in the period drama Shankara.
