Actress Ananya Panday practised the ‘chick-flick scream’ in a new behind-the-scenes video she shared from the sets of her upcoming Prime Video series Call Me Bae on Thursday.
“Trying to perfect the “chick-flick scream” for #CallMeBae but honestly I’m screaming with joy at all the love we’ve gotten on the trailer - grateful beyonddddd 🩷 (link in bio for those who haven’t watched it yet!) #CallMeBaeOnPrime,” the 25-year-old captioned her video on Instagram.
Reacting to the post, Karisma Kapoor wrote “Cutie ” in the comment section. Ananya’s mother Bhavana Panday commented, “When you see a cockroach ,” while her friend Shanaya Kapoor wrote, “this is when riot pooops on the carpet.”
Fans flooded the comment section with their excitement about the upcoming show. “Ananya after watching the amount of love she gets from her followers,” one of them wrote.
The recently dropped trailer of the upcoming series shows Ananya Panday in a fresh avatar of a rich and privileged South Delhi girl who tries to adapt to middle-class ways in Mumbai after getting disowned by her billionaire family.
Vir Das also features in the show as Ananya’s boss at a media organisation. Vihaan Samat plays Bae’s husband, while Muskkaan Jaferi and Niharika Lyra Dutt play her friends Saira and Taamarrah.
Also starring Gurfateh Singh Pirzada, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur, Call Me Bae is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under the banner of Dharmatic Entertainment. It is slated to hit Prime Video on September 6.
