Ananya Panday drops childhood photos with pet dog Fudge after his passing: ‘I’ll miss you every single day’

The 25-year-old actress will be next seen in the Prime Video series Call Me Bae

Actress Ananya Panday on Tuesday dropped a series of childhood photos with her pet dog Fudge, a 16-year-old Yorkshire Terrier that passed away recently, reminiscing about the time she spent with her furry friend since she first met him on her 10th birthday.

“2008 - ♾️Rest in peace Fudge, I love you fighter ❤️ 16 years of a life filled with so much food and joy, I’ll miss you every single day,” the 25-year-old actress wrote alongside the pictures on Instagram.

Ananya, who will be next seen in the Prime Video series Call Me Bae, got Fudge on her tenth birthday. The photos feature Ananya as a child when she started taking care of Fudge with her mother Bhavana Panday and sister Rysa. Pictures showing young Ananya and Rysa falling asleep with Fudge also feature on the carousel. The Kho Gaye Hum Kahan actress is also a pet-parent to a Golden Retriever named Astro.

Ananya’s friend Shanaya Kapoor took to the comments section and extended her love and support. “Love you (red heart emoji),” she wrote. Bhavana, Esha Gupta and Maheep Kapoor also dropped heart emojis.

On the work front, Ananya is gearing up for the release of her debut web series Call Me Bae. The show, centred on a disowned billionaire fashionista navigating life on her own for the first time, also stars Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur.

Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under the banner of Dharmatic Entertainment, the series will hit Prime Video on September 6. Besides this, Ananya will star in Vikramaditya Motwane’s CTRL, which is slated to premiere on Netflix on October 4.
