The teaser also features Vihaan Samat of Mismatched fame.

CTRL stars Ananya as Nella Awasthi and Vihaan as Joe Mascarenhas, a couple who create content together and are loved by their Internet audience. However, things soon take a grim turn when social media takes over their life, happiness and relationship.

CTRL is produced by Nikhil Dwivedi under the banners of Saffron and Andolan Films.

“CTRL is a cutting-edge thriller that will make you rethink your dependency on technology,” reads the official synopsis of the film on Tudum, Netflix’s companion site.

The screenplay of the film is developed by Vikramaditya, Avinash Sampath and Sumukhi Suresh.

Last seen in Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s buddy drama Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Ananya is set to make her web series debut with Amazon Prime Video’s Call Me Bae, slated to release on September 6.

Vihaan will also play a key role in Call Me Bae. Besides, he is expected to star alongside Ileana D'Cruz in a web series produced by Applause Entertainment.
