Childhood friends Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan cheered for Shah Rukh Khan’s IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) during their match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Eden Gardens on April 14.

The two actresses shared pictures and videos on social media which show them rooting for KKR. “Winning at home,” wrote Suhana alongside pictures of herself posing in the stands. She also shared a selfie with Ananya.

The Kho Gaye Hum Kahan star dropped a video containing snippets of her enjoying the match with Suhana. Set to the team’s anthem Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo, the montage also features Shah Rukh Khan’s youngest son AbRam. “Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo winning at Eden Gardens is the best feeling #AmiKKR,” read Ananya’s caption on Instagram.

While Ananya and AbRam sported white t-shirts with the team’s logo, Suhana opted for a black tee, paired with golden hoops.

Pictures and videos shared on the official Instagram page of KKR revealed that Shah Rukh was also present at Sunday’s match to support his team. Kolkata Knight Riders is owned by the Jawan star along with actress Juhi Chawla and her spouse Jay Mehta.

KKR emerged winners at the Sunday match, defeating LSG by eight wickets.

Suhana recently accompanied Ananya on her trip to Paris. The Archies star was present to cheer her friend during her Paris Haute Couture Week debut on January 22. Ananya strutted down the ramp as the showstopper for designer Rahul Mishra’s Superheroes collection.

One of the pictures, shared by Suhana from their trip, captures Ananya walking the ramp in a black bodycon dress with a giant sequined sieve attached to it. “My suizieeee pie,” Ananya wrote on Suhana’s post.

Suhana made her acting debut last year with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies alongside Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina. The 23-year-old recently collaborated with her father Shah Rukh for the first time in an advertisement promoting her brother Aryan Khan’s luxury streetwear brand D’yavol X.

Ananya, on the other hand, last appeared in Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s buddy drama Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. The actress is all set to make her web series debut with the Amazon Prime Video show Call Me Bae. She will also be seen in Vikramaditya Motwane’s yet-untitled film.
