Anant Ambani held his bride-to-be Radhika Merchant in a warm embrace during a pre-wedding ritual ahead of their July 12 wedding, shows a video shared by their official event planner Epic Stories on Friday.
The video shows the members of both the Merchant and Ambani families participating in the ritual. Radhika appeared with her father Viren Merchant, while her mother Shaila Merchant was seen performing aarti. Anjali Merchant Majithia, elder sister of Radhika, was also present.
During the ceremony, Radhika placed a garland around Anant’s neck and they embraced each other. She then sought the blessings of her future in-laws Mukesh and Nita Ambani. The video concluded with a family portrait featuring members from both families.
Radhika looked stunning in a white-and-golden saree paired with an embroidered red blouse. Stone-studded danglers, a statement neckpiece and a bejewelled maang tikka complemented her ensemble. A white gajra adorned her wavy tresses.
Anant, on the other hand, sported a red kurta paired with a golden embellished waistcoat.
“Here are a few glimpses of recent moments that narrate tales of love, joy, togetherness, and emotions that words often fail to express. As we eagerly await the finale, we feel deeply grateful for these beautiful moments we get to cherish, often behind the camera,” Epic Stories captioned the video posted on Instagram.
Radhika and Anant’s wedding will take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. The ceremony will be attended by international personalities like Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, Boris Johnson, Tony Blair, Jean-Claude Van Damme,Mike Tyson, and John Cena.
Indian film stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Janhvi Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor and Ram Charan are also expected to attend the wedding.
