An evening of laughter and conversations was on the cards at the first official Calcutta screening of India Bites, at The Glenburn Penthouse on Russell Street, a five-part docu-series that has been produced by Tastemade and Bagh Films Ltd and marks producer and chef Shrimoyee Chakraborty’s television debut. The journey captures India through her eyes. “The evening went extremely well... big thank you to Husna-Tara (Prakash; of The Glenburn Penthouse) and Shaun (Kenworthy) for helping me organise (this).... Glenburn is such a beautiful venue that it’s hard not to have a good evening there. Thank you everyone who came. It was such an eclectic crowd. It was special because my whole family was there... my mum, dad, brother, husband and Camille (daughter),” smiled Shrimoyee, striking a pose with the adorable actress Rytasha Rathore, who features in the docu-series.
