Goodbye
Balaji Motion Pictures has dropped the trailer of Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming family drama Goodbye. Directed by Vikas Bahl, who previously directed films like Queen and Super 30, the movie also marks the Bollywood debut of Pushpa: The Rise actress Rashmika Mandanna.
The almost three-minute-long trailer focuses on how the tragic death of the matriarch of a family forces children and their estranged father to live with each other. Goodbye also features Neena Gupta, Pavail Gulati, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sunil Grover, Elli AvrRam, Sahil Mehta, Shivin Narang and Abhishekh Khan.
Goodbye will hit in the theatres on October 7.
Prey
Disney+ Hotstar has released the Hindi trailer of the upcoming film Prey. Directed by Dan Trachtenberg and headlined by Amber Midthunder, it is a prequel to the Predator franchise.
Jointly produced by 20th Century Studios, Davis Entertainment and Lawrence Gordon Productions, the action-horror flick was originally released by Hulu on August 5.
Prey will arrive on Disney+ Hotstar on October 7.
Good Bad Girl
Sony LIV has come up with the trailer of its upcoming comedy-drama series Good Bad Girl. Created and produced by Vikas Bhal, the series is directed by Abhishek Sengupta and headlined by Samridhi Dewan of The Office fame.
The series seems to revolve around Maya (Dewan), a mischievous girl who’ll go to any length to secure material comfort. Maya lies to her boss that she is battling cancer to save her job. The series also features Gul Panag, Vaibhav Raj Gupta and Sheeba Chadha.
The Swimmers
Netflix has dropped the teaser of its upcoming drama The Swimmers, which is set to tell the true story of two siblings who made history through sports. It follows the story of Yusra and Sara Mardini, played by Nathalie and Manal Issa.
The official synopsis reads, “From war-torn Syria to the 2016 Rio Olympics, two young sisters embark on a harrowing journey as refugees, putting both their hearts and champion swimming skills to heroic use. Based on a true story.”
The drama will be directed by Sally El-Hosaini, who previously helmed My Brother the Devil and Babylon.
Armageddon Time
Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway has shared the poster of her upcoming film Armageddon Time on social media. The movie is written and directed by James Gray, who is known from helming films such as Ad Astra and The Lost City of Z.
The Intern actress took to Instagram to share the poster with the caption, “Please hold a space in your fall schedule for @ArmageddonTimeFilm, a new film from director James Gray. Thanks to him for allowing me to be a part of this powerhouse cast, as well as to @FocusFeatures for their investment and magnificent support of the film.”
Apart from Hathaway, the film stars Jeremy Strong, Banks Repeta, Jaylin Webb, Tovah Feldshuh, Ryan Sell and Anthony Hopkins.
