Amitabh Bachchan shares heartwarming video in celebration of 41 years of Sunday fan meets at Jalsa

The Bollywood veteran also penned an emotional note on his blog expressing gratitude to his fans

Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has posted a video on special media in celebration of meeting fans outside Jalsa, his Mumbai residence, every Sunday for the last 41 years.

“T 4780 – This Sunday .. 41 years! Every Sunday! Can never have enough emotion or words for this gratitude and love ..,” Amitabh wrote in the caption alongside the video.

The video begins with fans proudly displaying posters and photographs of the actor’s numerous iconic roles, creating a kaleidoscope of his illustrious career. The enthusiasm among the crowd was palpable as they eagerly awaited the appearance of their beloved icon. Then Amitabh emerged, dressed in a pristine white kurta-pyjama with a shawl draped around him, from his abode and acknowledged their love and affection with folded hands. He waved to them with a heartwarming smile.

The joyous interaction also saw the actor animatedly conversing with his admirers, who showered him with love and admiration. He took a moment to express his heartfelt appreciation, joining his hands in gratitude as he prepared to bid adieu when the momentous encounter concluded.

Amitabh Bachchan also graciously signed autographs on the posters and memorabilia brought by his devoted well-wishers.

Amitabh further shared his sentiments in a heartfelt blog post where he expressed his gratitude for the Sunday blessings from his well-wishers and dedicated fans. “And the Sunday blessings of the well-wishers and the prominent Ef... my gratitude as ever and always... so emotional each day each Sunday to feel the love and the expressions of emotion they carry for hours to spend just that few moments…,” he wrote.

“My prayers continue for all to be well and in happiness ever... This is one moment that never has enough words in my vocabulary to express... but I feel you all know what I mean... what you mean... I can just fold my hands in eternal gratitude... and love ..,” he concluded his blog post.
