Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has penned a note of gratitude to fans for wishing him a speedy recovery from his recent injury and also fuelled speculations that he could walk the ramp soon.

On Monday, the Uunchai actor took to Instagram to share an image of him walking the ramp. In the photo, Amitabh is seen in a black-and-white outfit and dark glasses. “… thank you for all the prayers and wishes for my recovery .. I repair .. hope to be back on the ramp soon 🙏🏻🌹,” he wrote in the caption.

Recently, the actor had suffered a muscle tear in his right rib cage on the sets of Project K, starring Parbhas and Deepika Padukone.

Amitabh also also shared a health update on his blog on Sunday. “The rib continues in its painful journey .. but another erupts at the toe and draws attention greater than the rib .. so .. the rib diminishes and the attention drifts to the toe …,” he wrote.

Taking to his blog, the 80-year-old actor shared a photo of himself in the same outfit and requested fans to share images of him in that outfit. “A request.. does anyone have a picture of me wearing this (pointing backhand index finger emoji) dress and walking the ramp... with dark glasses .. please send it to my WhatsApp… or put it up on Twitter… Gratitude…”

On Monday, the Goodbye actor also shared a video on social media in which he recounts a funny story told to him by the late Bengali actor Rabi Ghosh. In the video, Amitabh is seen delivering the hilarious narrative in front of his wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.
