Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan recently launched the trailer of Underworld Ka Kabzaa, starring Upendra, Shriya Saran and Kiccha Sudeepa, on his Twitter handle.

The R. Chandru-helmed Kannada crime movie marks producer Anand Pandit’s first foray into the south film industry.

“Happy to present to you .. the trailer of "Underworld Ka Kabzaa” .. a film produced by my dear friend @anandpandit63 and directed by @rchandru_movies,” wrote Amitabh.

“I decided to be a part of this period drama after hearing the story. And who better than R. Chandru to direct an action-packed film? Cannot wait for audiences to unfold my story in the film,” said Upendra.

“Knowing Underworld Ka Kabzaa has such talented actors like Upendra, Kiccha Sudeepa and the film being an R. Chandru directorial, it was impossible for any actress to not associate herself with it,” said Shriya Saran.

Echoing his co-actors’ words, Kiccha Sudeepa said the story of the film was likely to catch the attention of audiences and keep them hooked till the end. “All I can say is Audiences are really in for a whirl of entertainment with our film.”

Underworld ka Kabzaa will arrive in cinemas across the country in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi on March 17.
